The Trilogos Method and Inner Development Goals: Research Presented at International Education Conference

At the 2026 NABU Network Conference at the University of Stavanger, Norway, Prof. Michael Noah Weiss from the University of South-Eastern Norway presented recent research findings on the potential of the Trilogos Method to foster the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) in higher education.
The poster draws on the international action research project Innovation through Intuition, involving researchers and students from the University of South-Eastern Norway and Université Paris Nanterre. The study explored how contemplative guided imagery exercises based on the Trilogos Method can foster inner capacities such as self-awareness, creativity, trust, intuition, and connectedness.
The findings reveal clear connections between participants’ experiences and key competencies within the IDG framework. They suggest that the Trilogos Method may offer a valuable pedagogical contribution to education for sustainable development, particularly by cultivating the inner capacities needed to navigate complex societal challenges.
The poster presentation thus invites further discussion on the role of contemplative practices in higher education.
